Monday morning what-have-you's.

Happy Monday friends!

"Mom, you just farted in your mouth." 

I was just minding my own business feeding Ben a banana. To clarify: no burping.

"Don't talk to me that way!" 

I just asked him to wash his hands.

"It's okay Ben, here I am." 

To his brother when he is crying.
"Look mommy, I picked you a flower!"

You can see we are on the roller coaster ride that is having a three year old. Anyone else in this boat?

Some close friends and I have a monthly-ish dinner and rotate who hosts. This weekend it was my night. I went for a tapas theme and loved an excuse to get my table dressed up. Er, set. And what is it about fresh flowers that makes life a little brighter?

I'm starting to focus on getting my master bedroom decorated, finally. This has fallen way to the bottom of my to-do list since we moved and I'm ready to hang things on walls and make it a cozy space. It needs it! I love this space from Megan's home at Honey We're Home. I'm a neutral gal and love her neutral master. How simple and classy?

How Sweet It Is: Life with two.

You know when you run into someone you haven't seen in a while, and you spend some time catching up and get asked "how are things?"

Most of the time I respond with the typical "great!" "busy!" or "I'm tired." You know, the standard answers; the ones that don't take too much time or require too much thought.

But lately I keep finding myself responding with a new answer to that question, and that is "It's just a really sweet time right now."

And, y'all it is. 

A really, really sweet time. Lots of laughter between two brothers, lots of hugs, lots of love. I can't explain it in words that I feel like truly do it justice, but I'm sure many of you understand! You've lived or are living this time right now. Our hearts and home are filled with so much love at the moment. I'm so grateful for this time in our lives; because let's be honest, teenage years are coming folks, so for now, I choose to be ignorantly blissful!

And this weekend, we got a crawler!

Did you know three years today on President's Days Cooper was born? It was also a snowy President's Day (but the 20th) and one that forever changed my life. This day will always mean a bit more to us.

Going for it.

TO BLOG OR NOT TO BLOG. 
That is the question.

To those who still follow along regularly, you may have noticed that I made the blog private for a hot minute and I did that because a) I'm not blogging regularly, and b) when I do it's about the boys or life updates, which sometimes feels a little like "me, me! Look at me!" And also I figured, who really cares if last week Cooper told me goose poop is green like the color on the stop light? So, I briefly shut it down apart from close friends and family. 

 And then I got a few nice emails from people I had no idea followed along wondering WHY IS IT PRIVATE? I am always surprised when I hear that people read along, besides my mom and in-laws. Though they are my most loyal readers, this I know for sure.

So I figure I have two options, commit to this thing or shut it down.

I spent some time thinking about what it meant to "commit," and decided if I was to keep it up I had three goals: I want to write regularly, I want to have like, a plan, and I want to connect with other bloggers and readers. My favorite part of blog-land is connecting. After talking to the blogs greatest fan (my husband, which ladies, if you're biggest fan isn't your man, find a new one) and a lovely chat with a good friend about throwing insecurities to the wind I decided,  I'M GOING FOR IT.

Starting today I plan to blog regularly. Weekly. Three times a weeks specifically: Miscellaneously on Mondays, Wisdomly on Wednesdays (you can catch up on previous posts by clicking on Wisdom Wednesday at the top of the home page) and "link up" with other bloggers on Fridays.

Some days it may be all about the color of goose poop. And I'm okay with that.
